RFKとバラク・オバマ

　オバマ氏の希望を喚起する存在のあり方とか分裂しているものの一致の強調を見ていると、このあたりボビーみたいと思ってしまうRFKファンである私。

シカゴでのオバマ氏の勝利演説と、ボビーのカリフォルニア予備選の勝利演説の内容が類似していると勝手に一人で感動しております。こじつけかもしれませんが(~_~;)。

　これ（↓）は、オバマさんの演説の一部。

It's the answer spoken by young and old, rich and poor, Democrat and Republican, black, white, Hispanic, Asian, Native American, gay, straight, disabled and not disabled. Americans who sent a message to the world that we have never been just a collection of individuals or a collection of red states and blue states.

It's the answer that led those who've been told for so long by so many to be cynical and fearful and doubtful about what we can achieve to put their hands on the arc of history and bend it once more toward the hope of a better day.

そして、こちらがRFKの演説の一部。

What I think is quite clear is, is that we can work together in the last analysis and what's been going on with the United States over the period of the last three years, the divisions, the violence, the disenchantment with our society, the divisions whether it's between blacks and whites, between the poor and the more affluent, or between age groups or the war in Vietnam, we can start to work together, we are a great country, a selfless country, a compassionate country. And I intend to make that my basis for running over the period of the next few months.

　底を流れている精神が、似てません？(と思うのは、病膏肓に入っているファンの私だけ？）

　二人が出てきた時代状況も、泥沼化していくベトナム戦争と出口の見えないイラク戦争、戦争のせいで急激に悪化する経済状況とそのあおりで放置される貧困問題と、金融危機から始まった経済問題と拡大する格差問題、黒人と白人の人種間対立の激化と、いまだに影を落とす人種問題という具合に、重なり合っていて、こういう閉塞状況の時には、こういうタイプの政治家が浮上してくる国なのかなと思ったりしました。

　ボビーが殺されることなく、もしも37代大統領に就任していたら、きっとオバマさんは日本のマスコミからも、JFKよりもRFKと比較されていたに違いないと思う、ただのRFK贔屓の私であります。

　下は、HOPEという共通項を使って、バラク・オバマの応援にボビーの南アフリカでの演説を使っているビデオ。

Each time a man stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope, and crossing each other from a million different centers of energy and daring, those ripples build a current which can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance.

　オバマが大統領になることは、一つの壁が倒れたという象徴という印象を受けます。（これからが大変だと思いますけど。）
